Dkhp will contract with a local college serving students from the region and work together to recruit two college students who will train to be #icanendthetrend facilitators. Each student will dedicate approximately 500 hours to the project. Each college student will be paid for approximately 500 hours of work in the region and assist in implementing #icanendthetrend workshops in approximately 25 school and after-school programs. Dkhp also will recruit one adult and one youth from each of the four counties to serve in a yearlong "community health champions" program. These champions will each receive a $500 stipend and serve as critical, local contacts for dkhp.
