Together, we have permanently conserved 2,815 acres of open space since 1990. We maintain over 13 miles of publicly accessible nature trails on the sakonnet greenway trail, including the new glen farm trail loop, in oakland forest, at spruce acres farm and at town pond. We've conserved 22% of the area surrounding our drinking water reservoirs and over 1,200 acres of farmland. We estimate over 60,000 grounds and individuals visit our trails each year, as islanders of all ages seek the physical and mental health benefits of time spent in nature. The support of our community has made these achievements possible, and we thank you for being our partner in reservation. less
