Since its inception, the knights have contributed in excess of $1.8 million to the nyc parade along with contributions to such notable organizations as the irish arts center, st. Patricks cathedral and the monsignor jack barry scholarship fund. The nyc parade receives no funding from federal, state, or local governments. It is largely supported by the private sector and organizations such as ours to maintain the existence of the parade and to keep the tradition alive. less
